Marlene Jarman

Marlene Jarman, 82, passed away July 30, 2015, in Marysville, Wash. with family at her side. Marlene was born December 4, 1932. She grew up in Arlington, Wash. on her parents dairy farm. She married Bryant Jarman in 1959 and moved to Monroe, Wash. where they had a small farm raising beef cattle. She would milk the cows in the morning and then get the kids off to school. Her and Bryant raised five children. After all the children were in school, Marlene went to work for Pan Alaska Fisheries for several years. She then worked at Valley General Hospital in Monroe in the Linen Dept. for ten years and the dietary dept. for four years before retiring in 1995 when Bryant also retired. They sold the farm and moved to Marysville in 1998. Marlene loved spending time with her family and friends. She liked to travel and crochet. She and Bryant traveled to Yuma, Ariz. often. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margaret Carlson; brother, Robert Carlson; and her oldest son, Glen Jarman. She is survived by her husband, Bryant Jarman. She leaves behind four children, Norma Fieldcamp (Fred), Jackie Groves (Bob), Lavern Jarman (Janet), Dale Jarman (Pauline). She leaves ten grandchildren Tina, Tami, Amy, Bryant, Kyle, Rbrt, Julie, Jamie, Angie and Daniel. She also leaves several great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her! There will be no service per her request.
