Grampy.
Sitting on the steps with you... I remember as I got older how my legs got longer and longer and I would have to put them up higher and higher above the banister. I remember picking blackberries in the field. And learning to ride that pretty sparkly purple bike on the new blacktop driveway. And the black van. Vacation was always better with you and gramy. The smell of vacation still comes up. I remember playing with playdough and my stuffies while you watched baseball. And sitting in the big red chair with you while we ate peanuts and I tried to guess the teams based on their small logo. And laying on Big Bear. And putting Lady in the window if the ocean shores condo, fooling all the passers by while we were on vacation. I remember how much you loved making me grapefruit in the morning for breakfast with my oatmeal. And the steaks you grilled, wow. The best. And the countless, amazing vacations we went on. Snorkeling in Hawaii. We always came back here. You would be so proud of me and how wonderful the life Im leading is. I remember learning computer things with you, you were so smart. And you taught me about baking. Ive put that to good use. I remember making oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip, and lots of cakes. Sticking in the toothpick to see if they were done. I remember you used Brut aftershave, it smelled like you. And the Chevron cars. I cherish all of those memories and items. Its a bit sad I dont have them around. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. Your smile and laugh. Pulling your chest hairs. I love you Grampy. I miss you. Thank you for the wonderful life Im living and for shaping me. I´ll visit all of your gravestones soon.

It's been one year now. I miss your encouragement, smile, jokes, and advice. I called your wife the other day to make sure she was ok. We both cried. We miss you and will forever hold your memory in our hearts.
With love,

I have so many GREAT memories with Gramp! Its odd having his lively spirit gone, but I know he is in a much happier place and is out of pain. I'm greatful for my family and their ability to make sure I saw Grandpa while he was in better health. Amazing memories! Miss you Grampy!

Dear Tom, Betty & Tom,
You were such a huge part of my life. I wish I could've been there when you needed me the most. I will always love you all and I'm so sorry for the loss in your life. I hope the future will bring you some semblance of peace and quiet moments of joy and that you can look back and remember the good times. We had many. Thinking of you always.
Love,
Robyn
