Victor Charles Stull
May 11, 1958 - May 3, 2011
Victor was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Victor worked at Providence Hospital in Everett for 27 years. He started out in housekeeping then into engineering. He loved his job and all the people he worked with throughout the hospital.
To Vic, family was the most important thing to him. He is survived by his wife, Emily Stull; brothers, Jim Stull, John Stripling and Ed Stripling; and many more family and friends. Victor will truly be missed but never forgotten.
Vic loved golfing with his friends at the hospital, rain or shine.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Jim A. Stull and Irene F. (Rogers) (Stull) Stripling; and two brothers, Roger Stull and Thomas Stripling.
Any donations to the Engineering Department at Providence Hospital in Everett.
Services will be held May 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 1825 E. College Way, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 with a Celebration of Life potluck following at the Burlington Eagles, 119 N. Cherry St., Burlington, WA 98233.

I will always remember Vic for his prompt response to any call regarding maintenance/engineering issues at Colby. However, what I may never forget is the last time I saw him walking around the hospital one evening around the middle of last month. I asked him how he was doing and he answered, with the straightest of faces and no drama, "It's bad." His response was remarkable with a quiet acceptance, perhaps some resignation, which didn't match the much less-reserved Vic I had come to know. That he seemed at peace dealing with what must have felt like the weight of the world, THAT will be the memory of Vic that I carry with me going forward. My condolences to his family.

It's with great memories as a young boy that makes me smile thinking about Victor and his brothers. We were all brothers running the neighborhoods together in Burlington and growing up in such a nice time. It wasn't always easy times but we went through them toghether. Vic always smiled and always laughed. Then, so did everyone around him. Even from a distance in geography and time, he will be missed and remembered affectionately.

Uncle Joe and I (Aunt Grace) wish we could have traveled to
WA to be with you and wish we could attend your services.
Due to illness, it is impossible at this time but our thoughts
and prayers are with the entire family. Wish we were on the
mainland where I have access to old pictures and I could
post Irene, holding Victor, Maxine,holding Johnny and me

It's tough to put into words the feelings that flash thru your mind when the face you see every morning is'nt there to greet you as your work day begins, the same one that says nice putt when you miss gimme. Vic you will always be a part of PRMCE Engineering

Emily, I very saddened by the news of Vic's passing. I'm sending you my condolences. I will always remember the friendly smile, the warm and strong hugs, the friendly conversations, the nights by the bon fires in your back yard and how much love he always showed to everyone he knows. I was saddened to read about Vic's death. I did not know Vic really well personally, but got to know him through the many conversations you and I had on the rehab unit at Prov.
