Growing up in Diablo, the Newhalem store was a big part of my life. Jan was always so nice to me, and so funny. She left an impression on me that I haven't forgotten yet, and never will. Jan, you're an awesome lady, you're someone special, I hope heavan can keep up with you and your great sense of humor! My prayers are with the family. A truly wonderful person will be missed greatly here on earth, and I'm glad I had the pleasure to know her.

I remember working with Jan up at Seattle City Light. She was such a joy. She always had that wonderful smile no matter what was going on. I think she was an amazing lady to know. God's blessings to her family.

Jan, as your “new” neighbor, you were a great person to talk to. I remember just a few weeks ago how you were telling me about the geese sitting on the stump. Your face was so full of life and joy, just could not believe you left us here to be with your lord so fast. Sorry we never got to know you better. I will not do the same with Gary, he will be hearing from Carol Ann and me more often. You two are the best neighbor’s anyone would want to have. Missing your presence now and forever.

I am so sorry for your family's losss. I loved Jan, she was a great friend, and always had a smile for me the many years she was at Logger's Landing. Although we lost touch when she changed jobs, when we did meet she was always "Jan" with a big smile and a kind word.
