Donna Beumel Obituary
Donna Theer Beumel
July 11, 1929 – May 4, 2011
She was active in her community as board president and cofounder of the Shoreline Museum. She campaigned for Senator Henry M. Jackson. Donna was an advocate and worked tirelessly to raise awareness and monies for the prevention of child and domestic abuse.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 5th Ave. S, Edmonds. The Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. Luke Parish, 322 N 175th St. in Shoreline, with Interment following at Holyrood Cemetery also in Shoreline. A reception will follow.

It's hard to believe Donna has passed away. She was our neighbor across the street for more than 30 years, and she lived there many years before us. Donna was a nice friendly lady and we enjoyed visiting with her. I got to know her and her family better after I retired more than eleven years ago. When it became too difficult for Donna to do much housework, I did what she couldn't, and that always made her very happy as she loved a clean and orderly house. We will miss her, but her time came, as it will for us all. God bless Donna and keep her in His loving care now and always.

Mom and I send our deepest condolences to Donna's family. We all go way back to the 50's and Foresters. I'd like to think Dad and Donna are playing Bingo and Bunco in Heaven now...Nancy E Phillips and Barbara Borylla

Donna will be rembered for many things...but she was our bluebird and campfire leader for years. She was great at all of our projects and our Christmas plays. On behalf of the Ralph Van Hollebeke's....we send you our love. Suzie Van
