Mr and Mrs. Daniel,
Yarnell and I are heartbroken over Allen's death. He was a dear friend of ours since the first few days of our freshman year at Vandy. If it wasn't for Allen I would have never made it through chemistry lab. In addition, he and Yarnell were fraternity brothers; Allen was a groomsman in our wedding and we had the pleasure of witnessing his and Jody's beautiful ceremony. Through the years we've shared the joys of bringing children into the world and watching them grow into teenagers as well as the roller coaster of emotions of his battle with multiple myeloma. He taught us so much about faith and courage and every opportunity I have had, I have shared his vision of Heaven with friends and family. We will cherish the memories of our times together until we see Allen again on the other side. Know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.
