Hard to believe it´s been eight years. I´ll never forget that horrible day, but more than that I´ll never forget my friend - kind, fun, smart, and hard-working. I´m pretty sure we´ll meet again someday.

I´ll never ever forget this dear colleague. She was truly a gem - as someone said, tough and tender. We spent many enjoyable hours together at MCA conferences, talking shop and enjoying the company.

I think of her so often; so many things remind me of her, the laughter, the secrets, the meals, the classes we took together, the cases we shared and worked on together and in the early years, Belinda sharing the struggles and victories of her beloved daughters; boy, was she proud!. But most of all, I remember Belinda taking me to Deception Pass to throw flowers over the bridge at the most difficult time of my life; only she knew why and understood. We shared our lives and our hearts. She will never be forgotten and forever loved.

Each day we cross paths with tens or hundreds of people and on that rare occasion we meet someone who touches us deeply. Belinda was one of those who meant to touch others and encourage them to change for the better. It's hard to reconcile why a special and important person should be taken from us in such a tragic way. If we choose to remember that painful event, it will diminish all of her work done here with us. Let's remember her with love and admire her successes as an example to us all.

My heart was broken a week or so ago when I found out about the deaths of Belinda and her mom Bea. It had been years since I had seen them last, but I remember the years ago when I was around them. What a lovely family they were. This was such a tragic event, and it took away the life of these two fine ladies. They will be greatly missed by those who knew them and lived close by them. Heaven gained two angels when Belinda and Bea passed thru the heavenly gates. It is the friends and family's loss that they are no longer here on this earth. RIP sweet ladies. Loved you both.

Belinda was much more than a co-worker, she was my dear and trusted friend. Over the years, by watching her love for her two precious daughters, and then her grand children, I learned what a mother, and grandmother should be. I had not seen
Belinda since high school but knew what she was doing with her life and knew that she loved what she was doing and that she was loved by many. My heart goes out to her family and I pray for them to know that she is in a good place. She earned her crown to heaven here on earth.

Her laugh, all I can say was that she made me laugh and it was fantastic! I had the pleasure of being her hairdresser for years and we became close and could laugh at the bond of a fellow hairdresser. Although she was a probation officer for 29 years she was a hairdresser before that. Something that is never out of your system. I would look so forward to seeing her and bea. There are no words to express how much the world has lost without her and bea.

I had the pleasure of knowing Belinda for 10 years. I learned a lot from her both professionally and personally, and will cherish the time we spent together at conferences and meetings.
