Chick Cichoski, 80, a long time Everett resident, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013. He was born to Frank and Mary Cichoski, June 1, 1933 in Kulpmont, Pennsylvania, the youngest of 15 children.

Chick served in the US Air Force for 10 years during the Korean War ending his service at Paine Field where he met the love of his life, Genie. Chick and Genie married in 1961 and recently celebrated their 52 wedding anniversary.
Chick worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Everett, WA and was recently recognized as a 50 year member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
After retirement from the postal service, Chick worked at 25th Street Market.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy; and granddaughter, Laura.
He is survived by his wife, Genie; his sons, Ronald (Jenny) Cichoski, Steve (Helen) Smeland; daughters, Deena (Ron) Serafini, Mary (Rich) Groshong, Cathy (Bart) Minogue; his grandchildren, Nicole, Brian, Lisa, Jessica, Jeff, Kelly, Mark, Brandon, Emily, and Sara; great-grandchildren, Jerron, Justin, Zoey, John, Jade, Julia, and Evan; his sister, Annie; sister-in-law, Rita; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013, 4 p.m. at First Covenant Church, 4502 Rucker Ave, Everett.
