Joseph Dunne Obituary
Joseph "Joe" Dunne
He grew up in New York, entering the U.S. Marine Corps following high school.
Joe moved to Butte, MT to enter the Montana School of Mining Engineering. This is where he met the love of his life, Joyce Ahrens. After they were married, he joined the Montana State Highway Patrol, graduating second in his class. They moved to the Seattle, WA area where he worked for American Tobacco/RJ Reynolds for 35 years. They also owned Video Corner in Edmonds for many years.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; daughter, Candace Dunne Budhram; son, Joseph Dunne III (Denice); son, James Dunne (Rochelle); daughter, Cathe Dunne-Mott (Rob); grandchildren, Mary, Kelsey, Trevor, Joe, and Julie; and great-grandson, Damian.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joel Robert Dunne in 1989.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 12-5 p.m. at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S in Edmonds, 425-771-1234. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 27, 2012, 10 a.m. at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing, he has remained in my thoughts since the Video Corner days, I used to love coming in and visiting with him and Joyce. He was a wonderful man, may his memories forever be in your hearts!

MY CONDOLANCES TO ALL THE FAMILY. I worked with Joel, Joe and Joyce for several years at Video Corner and was sorry to see he had left us. May good memories ease your loss and help all of you thru the coming months. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend anything due to medical issues but I will be thinking of you.
