We remember Alice as always smiling and happy. She loved to work in the yard and be outside. Her knowledge of plants was outstanding. She was so pleased to be living with Lynn & Harold on Lake Goodwin. We loved having her there, also.
One great woman!

Dear Lynn,
Although there are miles between us, the love and respect I have for you and your mother and your father has never waivered. I am so grateful to have been a part of the Metcalfe Clan lead by wonderful role models like your mom. During your time of sorrow know you are loved.

Alice was a terrific lady. She was a kind and fun person, with a great sense of humor. Larry and I had fun times with them as she and Hal were always gracious hosts . My sympathy to Lynn and Gary, may they find some comfort with the good memories.

I recall Alice's last visit to North Dakota. What a delightful time of laughter, music, telling stories and enjoying a potluck meal together with her siblings; Alice with her soft gentle, easygoing smile. God Bless cousin Alice.

I wanted to light this candle in special memory of this very loving Mother to my very special friend Lynn Beck. Although I didn't know Alice well I certainly remember many stories Lynn graciously shared with me. I can't think of anything better than knowing you were raised so lovingly and in the end you got the time to give it back to your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you now that you will happily remember this special lady you called Mom. Love you dear friend, Linda Huber
