This is Stacy again, Jade's gymnastics teacher. I could not make it physically to the memorial, but I was there in heart in spirit. Rest in Peace Allen. You will be missed. Jade & Minh, I learned something early on from Joseph Campbell when I loss my father; participate joyfully with the sorrows of our earth. You are loved and thought about every day. I'm so sorry for your loss. Peace be with you.

I knew Allen through his DJ work and had the pleasure of co-hosting an event with him years ago. Allen was a wonderful human and my heart goes out to Minh and Jade and all those who loved and lost this sweet soul. RIP Allen.

Allen was the DJ at our daughter Crystal's wedding, in November 2010. He was professional, and we knew that all would run smoothly with Allen in charge. Alan ran our entire reception, he caused all our guests to have a great time, and we had no worries! We will miss you Allen; and our prayers and heartfelt concern goes out to your wife and family. We will be there on Sunday, to celebrate your life in the way you would want us to!

I worked with Allen at La Venta. He of course DJ'ed and I was apart of the catering staff. It was always a fun time when he DJ'ed for us. People were always dancing and having fun. No one could forget that bright blue bowtie. It was a signiture for him! In 2008 my fiance and I were planning our own wedding and simply had to have Allen. He was so wonderful working with us. Became great friends as we planned our happy day. He did an excellent job at our wedding in November. He was a devoted to his profession and was excellent at it. He never gave up and always strived for excellence. He will be greatly missed.

I met Allen in journalism class at Lynnwood Junior High back in the 70's. Even in junior high school, Allen was already a gentleman. I remember once when a few of us went out for pizza, Allen insisted on paying. That was Allen. Always taking care of others. The last time I saw Allen was in the early 80's at a dinner theatre in Seattle where he was performing. I always knew he would go on to do wonderful things in his life. He had an internal light that shined brightly for the whole world to see. My heart goes out to Allen's family and friends. With my deepest sympathy, Lore (Henderson) Dahlstrom
