Anne Simonian passed away peacefully on Monday at the age of 91. Anne was born in Fresno, CA where she lived most of her life. She later moved to Mukilteo, WA to live closer to her daughter. In 1944, Anne graduated from Fresno Technical High School in Fresno, CA. She loved playing sports, was the captain of the girls' volleyball team, a member of the baseball team and a writer for the school's business paper. As a single mother, Anne worked to support her two young children. She was exceptionally good at managing money. She did much with very little. As a homemaker, Anne kept an immaculate home and yard. She loved to bake. Her specialty was apple pie. In her later years, Anne enjoyed travel, often accompanying her daughter and son-in-law on cruises to Alaska, the Bahamas, and several trips to Hawaii. Anne was preceded to Heaven by her little daughter, Louise Elaine. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey; and her daughter, Deb Brandt and husband Steve of Mill Creek, WA. Anne was blessed to receive loving care at the Comfort Care Adult Family home in Everett, WA. Owner, Ester Bogdan, brought her love of Christ to Anne in a home that provided security, comfort and rest. Olga Martinez was Anne's loving caregiver for eight years. Olga brought love, laughter, and amazing care to Anne. Olga always found joy, even in the most challenging of situations. Florinda Rojas gave Anne the most tender and loving of care. Flor's faith, kindness, and gentle touch will always be remembered and cherished. They all brought joy and much love to the life of Anne and her family. May God bless them. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
