Arvel "Willie" Williams Arvel "Willie" Williams, 65, of Arlington, WA passed away peacefully at home with his family September 27, 2013. He was born March 30, 1948 to Jack and Lois Williams in Riverside, California. Arvel joined the Army following graduation from Rubidoux Hugh School and served his country, completing five tours in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. He moved with his family to Washington in 1992 where he owned and operated his own Athletic Equipment Installation Company. Arvel is survived by his wife, Kathy Williams; children, Randy (Michelle) Williams and Shelley (Todd) Wylie; his parents, Jack and Lois Williams; his brother, Sidney Williams; and six grandchildren, Wade Wylie, Wyatte Wylie, Monterae Stapleton, Chelan Stapleton, Bodie Williams and Raiden Williams. A celebration of Arvel's life will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home, open to the public. Reception to follow at the Stupey Residence. A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1st at Weller Funeral Home from noon - 7p.m. Burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery at a later date.
