Bernard, 83, passed away December 23, 2012 at his home in Everett. He was born September 19, 1929 in Everett to Oscar and Bernice (Marquie) Dahlquist.

He lived all his life in Everett. Bernard graduated from Everett High School in 1947. While in high school he joined Navy Reserve and later the Navy where he was stationed on the USS Keller in Everett for four years. He also worked tug boats for awhile then got a job at Everett Pulp Mill which became Scott Paper Mill, for 42 years.
Bernard belonged to the NRA and Everett Gun Range.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Bernice Dahlquist and son, Lon Scott Dahlquist.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Dahlquist; son, Bernard (Wendy) of Stanwood, WA; grandson, Matthew (Rachel) Dahlquist, and son, of Everett; son, Sean (LeAnne) Dahlquist, and daughter, of Sequim, WA; granddaughter, Michele Dahlquist of Stanwood, WA; step-sons, Chris and Paul Kindrachuck, and son, Kody Kindrachuck. He also leaves his brothers and sisters, Norman Dahlquist and son, Dan of Tonasket, WA, Sally (Frank) Coffey of Camano Island, Wa, Gilbert (Donna) Dahlquist of Twisp, WA; Rosemary Combs of Airway Heights, WA, Ralph (Sue) Dahlquist of Snohomish, WA and many nieces and nephews.
