Charles F. Manuel
June 6, 1939-April 14, 2011
Chuck "Bud" was born in Aberdeen, WA to Samuel and Eugenia Manuel. He graduated from Cordova High School, Cordova, Alaska in 1957, Grays Harbor College in 1964, and Western WA State University earning his Masters Degree in Political Science in 1970. He taught Political Science, Contemporary World Problems, Aerospace Education and Senior Planning. He coached football, wrestling, boys and girls basketball and tennis for 30 years at Marysville Pilchuck High School.
Charles is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Keely; sons, Todd and Tab; his grandson, Tye; and granddaughters, Casey, Ashley, Morgan and Lindsey.
The celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., April 26 at the First Baptist of Everett, 1616 Pacific, Everett, WA.
In lieu of flowers a donation in his name may be made to the NW Chapter of Huntington's Disease Society of America Penthouse #1, 4131 11th Ave. NE., Seattle, WA 98105.

I was honored to be present for the wonderful service for Chuck, today. I started at Pilchuck in 1970 and worked with him until retirement. He is a truly kind and gentle man. It has been years since I have seen you, but introduced myself to you at the celebration today. I was the French teacher at M-P, when there was only one. You are a truly courageous woman and your love story is a true inspiration.

Sharon, May the Lord comfort you and your family during this time. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Mr. Manuel invested genuine time in the in the lives of many. It was an honor to know him.

One never knows at the time the ability of a teacher when we are steeped in our own selfishness, but looking back, I appreciate Mr. Manuel's approach and delivery to his classes. Thank you. I still remember my report on the International Monetary System and Detente. Blessing to the family in this difficult time. Peace be with you.

Mr Manuel was my CWP teacherin 1987! I enjoyed him and his class. He will be missed. I hope he knew he was a respected teacher by students he taught, as much as 24yrs ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Manuel's passing. He was both my teacher for CWP in 1986 and he was my tennis coach. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
