Christy Leigh Hanson
Christy was born on February 4, 1967, in Sandy, Utah. A long-time resident of Everett, WA for most of her life, she is survived by her partner, Amy Barcelou; her parents, Gary and Lynda Hales; three sisters, Robyn Carlson, Tami Hales and Melissa Schroeder; and one brother, Michael Hales.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Everett.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Christy's name may be made to The Everett Animal Shelter.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I still remember today 2 years ago, the weather is about as cold and dreary today as it was then, the day you left us.. I believe in life after death, and I believe you are always watching over us, over Amy, doing little things to let us know you are around.. I am so proud and amazed by Amy, her love for you is so strong,always has been.. please be close to her, bring her comfort.. we know for you it is only a short time till you see us again, but for us it seems like an eternity.. We hold close the memories treasured in our heart.. and we know you and Mikey must be seeing all the beautiful things you were not able to while earthbound.. Christy's laughter and humor were so infectious. It's been ages since we worked together, but I can still remember that wonderful laugh.
My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends. It was hard to see that smiling face looking at me from the obituaries.

I will always remember you. We talked for so long just a few weeks ago. I always thought you were such a sweet person. I am so sad right now and I can't believe what happened. You use to come over when I was little and see my sister and I and coming to the museum with our Grandma who misses you so much and our Grandpa, Mom and Dad.
