Dan, you are still missed, I can recall with a big smile how many times, you made me laugh when you would call into dispatch and tell me a joke or some silly thing you happened to see while out working. I know your in a "good" place right now, but yes, you are still very much missed.

I want to offer my most sincere condolences to Dan's children and his family. I am so very sorry to hear of the deep loss of your father. I hope his memory will always live forward in your lives as well as those of your children.
I had the opportunity to work with Dan in Everett, which was a great experience. He never lacked to tell some silly story, or just to tease (yank my chain) to make me smile....he was a good man. He is someone I will always remember for his kind soul, the sparkle in his eye and such a beautiful smile.

Dan, Its hard to believe you've been gone for a month. Seems like yesterday I was talking to you on the phone asking you how things were going and enjoying our stories. I sure miss our music times together, me naming a title and you naming the artist. You were the King of Oldies. I appreciate all of our working years together in Halls Lake and Everett you made working so much fun. I am so proud of all of your children Aaron, Jade, Autum and Jake. I remember you telling me how proud of the kids you were for taking such great care of you, as am I. Remember I will always be there for them as I promised you, they are wonderful people. Well, its time to say goodbye but you will forever be in my heart, you were truly a best friend. Keeping em all rocking in heaven!

I was not ready to say goodbye Dan and you were the one person that I thought would be around forever. You really did have a way of making everyone's day with all your stories and jokes. Work was so much fun when you were around and you made the day go by so fast. I loved your thirst for knowledge and wanting to help out in order to learn something new. I will never forget the day that you butt dailed me while you were driving home from work. You were yelling at everyone on the road and huffing and puffing with frustration. I called you back and you were so worried that I caught you singing with the radio because that is what you usually do on the way home. I wish I could have heard that. You are truly one of those people that you can not ever forget. Thanks for being a part of my work life Dan. May peace be with you.

Hey Dannie, those last 3 months we were together are a blessing for me... all those talks we shared about our lives. Things we would have done differently and things that have made us stronger. Thanks Dannie for being such a good brother to me. I miss you so much and find such comfort from our shared memories. Your love lives on in your children and your grandchildren...and the rest of your family and all the friends who remember how you always gave us love and laughter.

The one thing that resonates here is the fact that Dan would always make you laugh. I worked with him on Debby's splicing crew. And I've always remembered that way he'd crack me up! My thoughts go out to the family. I was sad to hear he'd passed .

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. Dan worked for me as a cable splicer. He was always fun and entertaining to the crew. He loved to tell jokes. He died too young and it makes me sad that after all those years he didn't getting to enjoy retirement very long. My sympathy to his family.
