Deryl Belter Obituary

Deryl Charles Belter
"Pops"

He was the one who was always there, but his presence was lost on May 19, 2011.
Deryl was born on June 11, 1951 in Ferndale, WA. He was a resident of Marysville, WA and graduated from Marysville High School in 1969. He attended Lutheran Bible Institute before entering the Air Force in 1971. Deryl made his living as a truck driver and dispatcher.
Deryl is survived by his loving wife of nearly 36 years, Cynthia (Orr) Belter; children, Deryl (Ali) Belter, Sean (Tiffany) Belter and Kelsie (Josh) Stocks; and seven precious grandchildren.
Also surviving are his parents, Orvald and Christine Belter; sisters, Sharon (Don) Richards, Wendy (Mike) Rorick, and Luanne (Ray) Johnson; plus numerous extended family members and friends.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Pastor Joe Kutzke and members of the Providence Hospice team.
Dad, your beautiful bass voice will make a welcome member in Heaven's choir. Know that we will keep and protect your memories forever in our hearts.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Marysville.
Memorials may be sent to Deryl's favorite charity, Children's Hospital.

Mr. Belter was a fine man from my memory. It's been awhile, but my memories of him are embeded in my memory because of his distinct voice. D, "mom" and the rest of the family, I am sorry for your loss, but his memory will live on inside everyone he has touched. He's watching you all still and making sure everyone is alright before he finishes his journey thru the gates of heaven.
