To Baxter and Selia families: My deepest sympathy on the loss of Diane. She was a good friend. Even though we didn't see each other as we got older, I always hoped she was well. When I think of Diane, I see her smiling. May your memories bring you comfort. You're in my thoughts and prayers

Ron, diane was so special, I can't help remembering when andrea was about six months old and diane let me come in the morning and take her for the whole day until you two got to have dinner together by yourseveles. She was trusting that way. And I enjoyed myself so much with your prescious baby. Diane was so glad to see her when I brought her home. I was so careful with diane,s baby. But she knew me that way and did not worry. I hated moving away I missed so much and one of the things I missed was watching your family grow. Now diane is for sure showing off her glossermer wings. God bless your family.

Kevin and family,
Just like the Barnes family, the Baxter family is on of Marysville's "old families", we've all grown up in Marysville and we all were one family, really, back then. Everyone knew everyone. I'm so sorry for the loss of your sister Kevin. I hope you are taking care of yourself during this difficult time.

Dear Ron and Family:
We were shocked and saddened upon reading of Diane's passing. She was such a lovely lady, always smiling and laughing. We recall when we were all young that you lived down the street when Andrea and Amy were very young. We recall when I was pregnant and had to stay in bed the entire pregnancy that you and Diane made it a point to come and visit us every two weeks. We very much appreciated this kind gesture. I will always remember Diane's beautiful smile and know she is smiling on all her family. She will always be remembered by those who loved her. Anything we can do Ron, just let us know.

Being called home early to be with our Heavenly Father is hard to grasp and we are left asking why. We can only be grateful for the time we have with our loved ones and try to reassure ourselves that we will be united again someday. I hope your Mother's loving spirit continues to fill your heart with joyful memories of family, love and being together. This is what she would want. The pain will subside but you will never stop missing "Your Mom." May God's love fill your hearts and take away the pain of your loss.

Dear Scott and family, I was saddened to hear of your loss. I know your mother was an exceptional lady. She cared deeply about the unborn and loved her grandchildren as much as her own. I have fond memories of the Me and Mom tea at MPHS for your's and John's graduation year! You will miss her but she is over the horizon beyond your sight but not beyond your heart. Take care.

Sad to hear of your loss, but what a wonderful person she was as evident by comments and family. She was an old high school friend I enjoyed teasing and laughing with. Only recently reconnected on Facebook. She and her life will obviously live on fully here on God's earth in her family and friends.

Scott and Ron, and the rest of the Selia family, I am so heartbroken for your lost. Diane was an amazing mother, friend and all of the above. She was someone that no matter what you can always turn to. I wish there was something I can do or even say but I know how it really feels to lose someone to this battle. I have set up a place in my area for her memory to live on. To Diane, You will always be in my heart and you are so very missed!

I had not seen Diane in a long time ( except at the Doctors Office) and now I wish I had spoke to her more there. We went to school together and when our kids were very young we got together a few times and also attending a few Fireman parties at the Firehouse together. Diane was always so much fun to be around it is so hard to think her life was cut short she was so full of life.
I am so very sorry for her families loss. My thoughts and prays are with you. You were all so lucky to have Diane in your lives she was a wonderful person. I wish I had known her more.

Ron and family; I am so sorry for your loss. Diane was by far the most joyous, fun, loving and caring woman I have ever met. I am blessed to have known and spent time with her. She touched so many lives during her walk on earth and most recently touched and inspired many more during her courageous and short battle with cancer. She will continue to look down upon you with her ever present smile and encouraging us all to be kind to each other. I hope you find the peace in knowing that her journey now is in the hands of the lord and she will be waiting for you all in his presence.

Ron and family, Joan & I are so very sorry for the loss of Diane. Take comfort in knowing the many joyous moments of her life and we feel privileged to have know her and shared time with her. Diane fought a courageous battle that is inspiring to others. Thinking of Diane we mourn the loss of, but remember a good daughter, a good sister, a good wife, a good mother, a good grandmother, a good friend.
This also reminds us when someone throws a stone in a pond and the ripple radiates across the pond and affects everyone in or near the pond. Our family’s love and prayers are with you and your family in this, a most difficult time.

Amy and Andre,
You are both in my thoughts.
Native American Prayer:

I give you this one thought to keep, I am with you still - I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone - I am with you still - in each new dawn.

Andrea,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember all of us carpooling to Catholic school for so many years, or slumber parties at your house down town, it was alot of fun and good memories. My parents still talk about running into your Mom at the Everett Clinic here and there and chatting with her when she had a free minute. My Mom and I ran into your Grandma not too long ago, what a great lady she is too. Please pass on my condolences to your grandparents and the rest of your family as well. Let any of us in my family know if we can help in any way. Take care.
