Donald Lee Hohn

Donald Lee Hohn of Marysville, WA was born on December 21, 1936 in Santa Monica, CA. Don passed away on June 15, 2013 of liver cancer, with his family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie May.
Don leaves his loving companion of 35 years, Middy Ralston. Don was Middy's love of her life.
He also leaves his children, Steve (Collena) Hohn, Becky (Dan) Roland, Peggy Stevens, Jimmy Hohn and Wendy Hohn, all of Oregon. Don also leaves Middys children, Kirk (Janna) Ralston and Cindy Ralston. He leaves his two sisters, Doris and Denna of Phrump, Nevada; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Don was a Moose member and also a Legion member.
Don loved to sing. He would be singing from the time he would wake up in the morning till he went to bed at night. Don's favorite song was "Always on My Mind" by Willie Nelson. He sang this song to Middy all the time. His favorite music was Country and Western. His favorite hobby was fishing and catching his limit. He also loved watching the cooking channels. Don was a chef for many years. He also owned his own catering truck.
Wherever he went he made lots of friends. Don was a very loving, kind, sweet person. He will be so very much missed by everyone.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to Snohomish County Hospice and the wonderful nurses who took such great care of Don.
A Celebration of Don's life will be held August 17, 2013 at Middy's home from 3-7 p.m. It will be a potluck dinner and BYOB. If you have any questions, please call Sandy at 425-397-0867.
