Edward R. Christensen

Edward R. Christensen, 91, of Everett, WA passed away May 3, 2011.
He was born February 1, 1920 in Somers, MT where he resided until the early 1940's when he entered the US Army Air Corps in early January, 1942. He served in England as a member of the 38th Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group of the 8th Air Force. He returned to Everett after the war and went to work for Sound Casket Co., retiring as manager in 1987. He was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist of Everett.
Ed is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lois; and his son, William (Sandra) Christensen of Henderson, NV; granddaughters, Debbie (Matt) Wolanski of Euclid, OH, and Kathy Christensen of Henderson, NV; son, John (Maxine) Christensen of Lake Oswego, OR; grandson, William (Sabrina) Christensen of Lake Oswego, OR; and granddaughter, Becky (Chris) Burink of Colorado Springs, CO; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At his request there will not be a memorial service.
