I met Ed through Tawni Smith when I was about 8 or 9 years old (I am 38 now). He watched our softball games, came to Sunday dinner at the Smith's and was present at many birthdays and other special events. Last time I got to visit with Ed was Jessica's 1st birthday. He visited with my youngest son and shared stories about baseball and being a boy and the fun things that went along with it. He was a true treasure and loved by many and will sure be missed as birthdays, holidays and just plain days come and go. Thank you Ed for always listening and sharing, for smiling and for caring about everyone around you. God Bless you and your family. Kelley Kier, and sons, Brandon and Payton
