Siegfried Eva Chism Siegfried passed away into the arms of our Father with family by her side January 17, 2014. Eva was born Eva Maurice Willard in Miller, Nebraska on June 4, 1926 to parents, William and Zola Willard with Eva being the youngest of three children. She married Harold Chism and together they had five children. In 1952, Eva along with her family, moved to Washington. She took great pride in the little white house that she helped Harold and grandpa build. The little white house still stands today in what is now known as York Park. Eva was a cook by profession. She cooked in many of the local restaurants. She owned and operated the White Swan Cafe which is currently known as La Hacienda in Marysville. People would come from miles around to enjoy Eva's cooking. Eva also owned the Flying A gas Station. She worked beside Harold in helping with car repairs. Eva enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. She helped anyone in need. She is survived by her children, Ron, Sharon, Steve (Cathy) Debby Chism, Susie (Jae) Ewing, and Gary (Lynn) Siegfried; sister-in-law, Betty; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Siegfried; two siblings, Marie and Bud; grand-daughter, Tammy; daughter-in-law, Brenda; and great-great-infant grandson, Angel. The family would like to thank her caregiver, Robin Kachel and North Hospice for their loving care. Eva's celebration of life will be held at Crystal Tree Clubhouse at 16600 25th Ave NE Marysville, WA on February 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local food bank.
