She grew up with her brothers, Pete and Mirl, in Yakima, WA. She married Ralph Harold "Harry" Webb on September 9, 1955. Together they raised four children, Judy, Tom, Scott and Susie. Evelyn was a stay at home mom who was very involved with her children's activities. She was a Girl Scout, Cub Scout and Brownie leader and President of the PTA at Nob Hill Elementary in Yakima.
The family moved to Everett, WA in September of 1967 to the big house on the lake that became a gathering place for many family events. Evelyn and Harry became grandparents to Teresa Webb and Adam Argo in 1985 and 1986. Evelyn was known as "Nana" from then on. She took care of Teresa and Adam after school for most of their early years. She took them to many events including swimming lessons, rolling skating, sports, 4H and school activities. Her last grandchild, Nathan Webb, was born in 1996 and she was always interested in attending his sports events and school band concerts. Her grandchildren were very important and special to her.
Evelyn and Harry loved to travel and go camping. They took many trips to Reno together and also took the grandkids camping several times. She and Harry had a chance to go to England and Ireland and later she and her friend, Geri Cressman, went to Europe. She also enjoyed trips to Sante Fe, NM with Judy and her husband, Jerry. She had many friends and family in the Yakima, WA area and went there several times a year to visit. In the last few years she really enjoyed going gambling every Friday night with Judy.
She loved to sew and do crafts, she gathered with Charlene Allen and friends at her house weekly to work on projects, and to visit.
