Dear Gross Family,
I met Blackie on board the Patty J many, many years ago. I seem to remember that he had baked a cake that day. Larry and I have thought of him and the family often over the years. We have a lot of ties and special memories that bind us to him and the family. Please know that you have our deepest sympathy and are in our prayers. Glenda Dontos

Dear Gross Family,
Blackie meant a lot to me. I thank him for many things, including teaching me discipline. He was a hard task master but was always there when it counted. I admired him for being a great family man, always putting his family first, especially spending his most valuable asset, his time, with his children. I'm so glad he found a wonderful woman to give him joy and comfort in his later years. I will forever link Blackie with my dad and the Patty J and link Mike and Ron with being such good friends to me. Larry Dontos
