Dad
I'm going to miss you but I'm glad that you're with mom. Tell mom that we love her. Thanks for giving me a wonderful life and teaching me the most important lessons.
-fairness and kindness -laughter -seeing the good part of life -singing a song even if you're sad because it will make you feel better. You always called me "baby" no matter how old I got...I'm going to miss that. Love, your baby, Penny

Dear Newman family,
My favorite memory of Dad Newman is when he would sing "Big Rock Candy Mountain" to me. Only two people in my life ever knew all the words to that song -- Mark Krause and Dad Newman.
Ode to Dad Newman
Fond years now gone by, followed by many tears--
oh, when Spring comes soon;
we will sing another tune,
of Big Rock Candy Mountain;
and think of him and the happy times at the lake.
Sitting next to Dad Newman was always a marvelous escape;
of golden days while in a haze.
I'll stop and gaze
at the memories he gave
to last for many days.
Sincerely, Jeannette Rockstad-Krause-Anderson

Dear Robin, Ronnie and Penny,
It is truly a sad day for me and I'm sure many cousins on the Newman side of the family to see our Uncle Frank leave this earth. I know we are grateful for the full life he lived, but to say good-bye to our last Uncle from the family is difficult. My thoughts are with you.

My Grandpa was a wonderful man someone who loved and accepted all people and always gave everyone a chance. I will miss everything about him but especially his funny sayings, he had one for every occasion, and his singing he also had a song for every occasion! He loved life, he did not need to be rich to do so but rich in family and friends..... that is what he treasured most! I love you forever Grandpa, say hi to Grandma for me- Love you always Rachael

Ron, Robin, and Penney
I remember most your Dad's easy-going manner and his sense of humor. He always had a witty response to whatever I might say. He was genuinely a nice man.
God Bless,
