Chuck & Jen .... Your mom always had a smile and was always full of energy ... She was like a big sister to me when I was growing up. When I was a young child she would come over with Joyce and have family breakfast with us. Our families were very close and we spent hours playing cards. She and I even went hunting & fishing ! I will Love her always and Miss her Greatly ! Love Frank Cearley Jr

Gloria was one of the greatest mom's in the Washington Way neighborhood. I have so many memories: forming our band, watching movies, swimming in the pool and kickball in the backyard. We had the best childhood.

Dear Judy and Chuckie, I remember your mom as always smiling and being upbeat whenever us Worthen girls would come over to play in the Slaughter back yard and climb the trees up to the sky or swim in the pool. We have lost one of our best neighborhood moms, but the memories of Gloria we will always hold close in our hearts. My love to the family....Dixie Worthen Stuart

Judy, Chuckie and family

I remember Gloria as being a strong and intelligent woman. She was a big influence on me growing up. I'll never forget hearing her whistle us all in at the days end. Days when we left home in the early morning and came home as the sun set. Kickball and motorbikes. She was always positive and kind. When I think of her I picture her standing on your blue carpet in stretch pants and smiling. She remains forever in my heart. With Love and Friendship always, Cindy
