Harvey died suddenly November 24, 2013. He was born March 27, 1949 to Sgt. Harvey D. and Ella Pace in Everett, WA.- He was the third of four children. He graduated in 1967 from Cascade High School. He joined the Air Force that same year. He served in Vietnam and served 18 years in the military. He loved serving his country. He married Dee Willis in October 1972 they had two daughters and 29 years together. He worked at Boeing from 1986 until he retired in 2010. Harvey married Tammie Riley in 2011 and they lived in Bonney Lake, WA. He is survived by his wife, Tammie; daughters, Julie Pace and Heather Pace and step-daughter, Mackenzie Riley; his beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Cameron and Jacob; and his mother, Ella Songstad; and mother and father-in-law, Maxine and Brian Macaichan; his sister, Joy (Clay) Hall; brothers, Dan (Pauline), Jim (Virginia) Pace; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey D Pace; and granddaughter, Ella Jean. He enjoyed his retirement socializing with classmates and showing his sense of humor and compassion on face book. Harvey was a great Dad, a wonderful grandfather and amazing friend. He will be greatly missed. When parting with friends and family make sure to tell them you love them. Those were the last words spoken between Skip and his mom. Services are December 20, 2013, 2:30 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, There will be a memorial at a later date.
