Ivy will always have a place in our hearts. She was my sunday school teacher all thru my life, from a 6th grader til and into adult life. What an influence she and Walt were to us.

Growing up next door to Malmsteads was a true blessing. They were such an inspiration and had such an impact on our family’s life. If there was ever a book written on how to live life as a Christian there would most certainly be a picture of Walt and Ivy in it, two of the most wonderful people we have ever known.

Though I did not know this precious lady, I do know her wonderful grandaughter Joni. Miss Ivy's love and beauty has been clearly poured into her family. She has left behind a heritage in her love for Jesus that will indeed last for generations. Thank you Miss Ivy.

My family is so sorry to hear of your loss. Ivy was a big part of our lives. She was good friends with grandma and grandpa, and someone the rest of us adored. Ivy was a gently, sweet woman who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She touched many lives as a Sunday School Teacher, in the church (Lake Stevens Assembly of God) and life in general. Know that while the world has suffered a loss, Heaven has gained an angel. All of our love to each of you as you mourn the loss of dear Ivy.

May you carry her in your heart with the peace that she is happy and full of life in the arms of her savior and those she has longed to reunite with. With all my love to your family, I am truly blessed to have each of you in my life.
