Jamie Marie Lieb Edwards
Jamie was unexpectedly taken from her family and friends on June 9, 2005. She was born in Moses Lake, Washington, on March 14, 1960, and was a graduate from Cascade High School in Everett. At the time of her passing she resided in Oak Harbor, and was employed as the bookkeeper for United Food and Commercial Workers Local #44 in Mount Vernon.
Jamie's life was a testament of giving to others. She made back-packs for underprivileged kids, was a telephone friend for seniors, and would let her beautiful hair grow long and then donate it for making wigs for cancer patients. Her most recent fundraising efforts for the "Ride for Kids" benefited the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. She loved crafts and her annual holiday craft parties were enjoyed by many. Jamie was regularly off on an adventure and she took every opportunity to explore the beauty of the outdoors and the open road. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and always did! This natural ability often developed into life long friendships. Those of us touched by Jamie's generous spirit have been richly blessed.
She leaves behind a long list of family and friends and will be missed by all for a long time to come.
A memorial celebrating Jamie's life will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 16, at the home of Mr. Ken Watson, 16925 Larch Way, Lynnwood, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, 302 Ridgefield Court, Asheville, NC 28806.

There are not many words to describe this wonderful human being other than "Friend".Though I only knew her a short time it seems like we have known each other for years. I still see her from time to time coming into a room and filing it with laughter and joy. Many a time was there a sore stomach afterwards. I thank her family for sharing this wonderful gift with us and she will always be in my heart.
Thank you all.

Jamie - I'll always treasure the Tulip Festival trip and the craft days together. I'll never forget when we went camping together in California and got so sunburned! I dyed my hair red because I always envied yours! :) I'll miss you so much, but I'll always have the daffodils to remind me of you. Love you always...

No words can express how I feel for you all today. I wish time could fly by as I know it won't make it any easier but it does help heal. I am here if you need me. Love Laura

Jamie will be missed by all of my family especialy by me. My two boys have been remembering when Jamie taught them to do bead work. I remember how she could light up a room just by walking into it and giving everyone a smile.

Jamie, you will be missed by all. I am SO sorry that we didn't have more time to get to know each other. I will always have fond memories of our white water rafting trip and the rain storm you and Ken had to leave in. I am so thankful for the time we spent together at the Steak & Lobster feast on May 14, 2005, (for the PHCC auction). I will always keep your memory close to my heart. Love, Sandy

To my sweet "Baby Steester",
How will I ever get along without you? The way we belly laughed until it hurt. The way we always knew what each other needed, whether a hug, a kiss or tough love. Everything we did for each other was out of love. Your caring spirit always inspired me to be a better person. I pray that my future lives up to your level of giving. Be at peace, know that you are missed and loved, especially by me.
I love you, Jer

Jamie was my Sister's (Becci) dearest friend. I was heart broken to learn of her passing. She had a smile that could light up the room. She was a very kind hearted woman, always helping others. She will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family & friends.

Wow. I am so sorry to hear about Jamie's passing! She was a great friend during our high school years. We cruised everywhere in her little Renault, nicknamed "Rennie." All I can say is, it looks like she lived her life in fullness, giving and loving right up until the end. It is a terrible sadness to lose her so young in life. I am very sorry to her family and close friends, you were so lucky to have shared her life. We all were. :-(
