Jamie Rea Carson
Dec. 13, 1970 - Jan. 14, 2013
He is survived by his loving family members: brother, Ian Grey Thomas; mother, Margaret Grondal Delourme; father, Steven Rea Carson (Owens); step-father, Andrew D. Thomas and Margaret's former husband, John Eric Delourme. Jamie was unconditionally loved by his extended family members that included aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He was an important part of so many lives and will be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved.
Jamie felt life deeply and had a heart that could fill a room with humor and wit. He loved children and animals and was lucky to have enjoyed some very meaningful relationships during his life. This large family of relatives and friends wish for Jamie's memory to bring more joy, love and happiness.
Heartfelt thanks go out to all who have felt the tragedy of his passing with expressions of kindness and love. His life was short and sacred; his memory will be long with love.
A celebration of his life will be shared at a future date.

To friends and family that attended Jamie's beautiful Memorial and for those who couldn't: my love goes out to you as we suffer with Jamie's passing. How wonderful to know how much you loved him. Carry his memory in your heart and remember his ability to make us laugh and the warmth of his hugs as his arms wrapped around us. He was such a special, loving, guy. It's Valentine's Day, one month from his passing. He would have had that card in the mail for me to open today. I know his passing presents a huge void in many lives. Fill it with love, hugs and kisses and hold on to the blessing that we had him for 42 years. He was my big hero and little Ian's protector. We miss him so much. Some days are just filled with tears. Time will heal us and help us move forward. I know he's at peace and in God's hands as he believed.

I will always cherish the years Jamie the kids and I spent together. The kids and I have had much laughter and tears sharing memories and going through all the pictures of Jamie, and sorrow knowing he is not here anymore. Jamie Carson had a smile to remember, a high school football hunk, a rebel (unfortunately the knuckles to prove it) and a listening ear. Loved Jamie the teen and really wished I had kept in touch of the man. My heart goes out to friends, Co workers, and family. I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Jamie and I went to school together. He was never big on words but when he did have somthing to share he was always right on and it was most often funny. My love goes out to the family, I was one of the Lucky ones to have Jamie in my life, he is my soulmate, my rock, my best friend my world and my thunder buddy. I will always keep him in my heart, and forever will be missed. He left me lots of wonderful memories that will never be forgotten, we were two peas in a pod!
