When Aunt Joanne and Uncle Ed and my McKee relatives moved
to Washington I was young but I can still remember family times together. I was able to reconnect with some of my cousins and their families this past year. I feel I got to know Aunt Joanne thru them.

I always admired Aunt Joanne's wit, her wisdom, and her inner strength. Always with a smile on her face, I believe her motto was, "Laugh often, long, and loud!". She will be missed and always remembered with love.
I'm so sorry that I can't be there in person to help celebrate her life. Please know that I will be there in spirit, and that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My dearest friend. There are no words to say how much I will miss you. The memories are too many to mention. I think of them often as I cry and laugh at the same time. We had some wonderful times together, some we can mention...some we can't! I will always love and miss you Joanne and never forget you.

You were the second mom in my life for many years. Thank you for all the wonderful memories that you were able to give to me as a child and young adult. You will always be in my heart...
