Joe Dennis Geary

Joe Dennis Geary, was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on December 20, 1932. Joe married Marlene Faye Jones on March 30, 1956. He married Louise Darlene Rose Jensen on September 3, 1966.
He passed away on December 26, 2012 in his home in Darrington, WA, due to cancer.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, and three sisters.
Joe is survived by his brothers, George and Howard Geary; his wife, Louise Geary; and six children, Deborah Lee Walters, Lanette Denise Colbert, Walter Eugene Jensen, Brenda Lee Davis, Dawn Rae Schnee, Dianne Geary Payton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Joe served in the Army during the Korean war from 1953 until 1955 where he earned a Korean Service Medal, a bronze star, United Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal. After that he was honorably discharged and served eight years in the Army Reserves.
He worked with the Great Northern Railroad, Seattle, WA as a Trackman.
