John Weber Obituary

John L. Weber

John L. Weber of Everett passed away at home on Thursday, August 12, 2004.
John was born to Whitey and Gretchen Weber on November 13, 1928 in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1947 and served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1952. In November of 1956 John married Esta Jackson his loving wife of 37 years. Esta passed away in 1993. John Weber worked for the Boeing Company as an ordnance mechanic until his retirement.
John is survived by his daughter, Ann and Curt Davenport of Arlington; and his son, Scott Weber; his companion, Shamane Herman, and her son, Nathan, of Granite Falls. He is also survived by his extended family, sister-in-law, Imogene Thompson; niece, Judith and Kevin McNerney; Leo, Kathy, and Royce Davenport; his nephew, Jim Scott and his loving family; his niece, Jennifer Wanamaker; and nephews Carlos and Geoffrey Rojas.
John was a best friend to his children and a blessing to family and friends.
John was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to talk to EVERYONE he met.
He had a love for life and enjoyed boating, fishing, walking, EATING, talking about eating, and flowers. He took long walks (everywhere as long as it was up north!) whenever he could, and harassing his kids as much and as often as possible. You never knew if he was serious until you saw the twinkle in his eyes and the smirk around his lips. He never stopped learning and was interested in space, physics and science. John always had a story to tell and was a lot of fun to listen to. He often talked about his friends at Boeing and the "gang" at the Royal Fork and other eating establishments.
We will be celebrating the life of John Weber at his home, 3120 79th Ave NE, Everett WA on September 11, 2004 from noon until 3:00. This will be a potluck lunch. Please bring your favorite salad, main dish or side dish to share. Please think about your favorite memory of him to share with us.
Memorials may be made to the Everett Gospel Mission or the American Heart Association.
