Nov. 2, 1945-Sept. 17, 2013 Josie was born in Great Falls, Mt, to Patrick and Rose (Newman) Prendergast. Josie fought a courageous battle with cancer and lost but she passed peacefully in her sleep. Josie graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic High School and graduated from Seattle Catholic University. Josie is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves a brother, John Prendergast (Vicki); sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Coe and Margaret Green. She was a wonderful aunt to many nephews and nieces. She loved and supported them all. She leaves behind many wonderful friends, especially Hope McCormick and June Roylance. She worked at the city of Marysville, WA. She will be greatly missed there. Josie was an art collector, avid outdoors woman who loved to hike, bike, cross country ski and a kayaker. She loved to travel and had an adventurous life while living in California, Sedona, AZ, NY and Washington and traveled to Europe and Ireland. Service will be at Hope Foursquare Church, 5002 Bickford Ave, Snohomish, WA 98290 on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
