Josephine Licata Barmeier 1928-2014 Josephine Licata Barmeier passed away March 22, surrounded by her husband, Robert; and three daughters, Chris, Cathy and Carolyn. Jo and Bob were born in St. Louis, Mo. They began their 60 year marriage and soon after they started their family, the Barmeiers moved to Everett, Washington. Jo became active in St. Mary Magdalen School and Parish, the Eastmont Garden Club, Providence Hospital Volunteers and several bridge groups. She was a loving wife and mother who will be immensely missed. Jo is preceded in death by her daughter, Cherylann Barmeier. In addition to her husband and daughters, she leaves behind her brother, Joe Licata and his wife, Linda; sister, Rose Marie Scimemi; son-in-law, Kevin O'Shea; and five grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan and Michael Caballero and Diana and Conor O'Shea. Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Names Retirement Fund, 2911 W Fort Wright Dr. Spokane, WA 99224. The Viewing will be at Solie Funeral Home on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and the Mass of the Resurrection will be at St. John Mission in Mukilteo, WA on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
