Julie Ann (Gieseke) Hoekema

Obituary

Oct. 14, 1951 - July 30, 2013 We think of her everyday and especially today on her birthday. Julie was born in Monroe to Bill and Elma (Prill) Gieseke. She was known for caring deeply about people and sharing her many talents, handmade gifts, cooking, sewing, and fixing things, to name just a few. She loved her family, her grandkids and her dogs. Everyone who met her loved and adored her. She is survived by her loving husband, Dean; sons, Travis (Teale) and Denny (Annie); mother, Elma Nordby; brothers, Allen Gieseke and Ken (Cherie) Gieseke; sister, Anita (Bob) Hutchens; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill and her stepfather, Mert Nordby. We know where you are, and until we meet again, we all miss you and love you Julie.
