I remember Larry as a little boy in our neighborhood with his sisters Susie&Joanne. He married my sister Dawnie when they grew up and had 3 great kids! He was a great brother in law to me. I am so sorry for his loss at such a young age. Thoughts and Prayers to his family.

Sorry to see you go Larry. We had some fun times at North Junior, you were the only guy I knew who would take 35 swats from the vice principal, instead of detention, he didn't know you had gym towels in your pants. I caught a few fish with you in the Snohomish, and had one of my best days ever duckhunting up in Stanwood, the ducks never stopped coming the dogs were having a heyday, we finally ran out of shells. Cutting cords of wood the day after a good windstorm, it goes on..Our condolences to your whole family Bob and Suzy Sanders

Larry,
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

Norm and I were so sad to hear of the passing of Larry. Being the only two families in the immediate neighbor hood the Bergesen kids and us spent a lot of time in our younger years. Even though we kids didn't stay close our moms always kept us informed of the milestones in each others lives. Our condolences to Larry's wife, children, grandchildren, mom Selma, Joann, Kenny, and Susie. We know Gramma & Grampa Bergesen, Gilbert and Ian have welcomed Larry with open arms in heaven.

Bob and I were so sorry to hear about Larry's passing. We all grew up together in the Riverside area, known as the Riverside Rats. We had lots of fun fishing and just hanging out. Even though we haven't seen you for a few years, we will always remember you.

Love you all and will miss being with you. Larry was so wonderful and was always there when mom and dad needed help in any way. We will all miss his wonderful smile. I'm sure my dad welcomed him at heaven's door. Now there is no more pain! Prayers are with you all!

Thanks uncle Larry for all the good times we had out at Lake Stevens...fishing for perch off the dock, playing Pacman all night, and making swords and shields for Ian and I in your workshop...Evan may have been a little young at that point :) peace,

Oh Larry, you fought long and hard. Rest now my friend. You will be sitting on our shoulder each time we need something fixed. Probably laughing. And you'll be there looking under the hood of the next wild car I drive...and laughing. I KNOW you fed those little pooches Mexican Jumping Beans! We will think of you everyday as we sit in the Delta House you so nicely remodeled (while hearing my voice in your head as you picked the materials, "That's it Larry! That's what we like!") You always knew. Now you have lots of broken hearts to fix. And you will because you are our strong and capable ANGEL. Aug 1954 - May 2011...It's the DASH in between that counts, and you lived and loved your DASH.

I was so sorry to hear that Larry passed away. He had a good heart and wonderful spirit. He always made me feel very welcomed when I would visit Rebecca and Larry with his brother Kenny at their home. Even though we will miss him, God wanted him more. RIP Larry.
