To Mr. Kucera's family: I am so sorry for your loss. He was a favorite teacher of mine. I had him in 6th grade at Garfield Elementary School. It was the very first year of the brand new Garfield school and we were all very excited to be there. My condolences to you on the loss of a great educator.

I was just thinking about him the other day. I am so sorry for your loss. He was my math teacher at Evergreen Middle School and was one of my favorite teachers. Math was my favorite subject, in part because he made it so fun.

Mr. Kucera was my math teach at Evergreen in the mid 80's. Math was not my best subject but he was always so patient and made sure I understood. I remember him fondly as a teacher.
