Maridee (Kyle) Willett Our mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Maridee (Kyle) Willett passed away peacefully at home Friday morning, September 13, 2013. She was born and raised in Arlington, WA. to her parents, Wilma Markson and Lawrence Kyle, and was one of eight children. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Shirley, and leaves a hole in the hearts and lives of her younger siblings, Norma, Skip, Sandy, Kenny, Mike and Debby; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Maridee continued living and raising her own family in Arlington, and resided there until her untimely passing. Maridee's pride and joy was her family. Her son Guy Willett (wife, Maxine Willett); and daughter, Denise Kazen (husband, Ron Kazen) both still reside in the Arlington area. The grandkids; Jillian and husband, Nathan (and greatgrandson, Declan) Guy Jr., Kylee, Curtis and Kelsy, all reside in Arlington, and granddaughter, Amy and husband Preston reside in California. Their loss will be felt tremendously, as "grandma" had a special nickname for them all, that made each one feel her special love. She loved gardening and cherished her shopping and lunch dates with her sisters and kids, and her favorite memories were all of her world travels with family. Holidays and birthdays were Maridee's 'thing.' She always made sure that each one was very special and celebrated to the fullest. These were the times that her generosity and love shone the brightest, and these were the times, that the family was treated once again to the soothing songs of "Elvis"! These will be the times, her absence will be felt the most. Maridee worked many years at Scott's Paper in Everett, before joining the Arlington Post Office, where she put in her 30 years and retired in 2000. She enjoyed the retired life at home which was so well deserved and gave her the time to do what she loved the most, be with her family. We will miss you Maridee. You have forever touched our hearts, and blessed our lives with laughter, love and the meaning of family. We only hope and pray that you are finally dancing with your 'blue suede shoes' with your true love Elvis Presley on Heaven's floor!! In Loving Memory of Maridee (Kyle) Willett: There will be a memorial service at the Assembly of God Church on Stillaguamish Ave, in Arlington, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. Immediately followed by a reception at the church. Maridee will be laid to rest at the Arlington Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are all Welcome to come Celebrate her life.
