My name is Geri And I knew Mary Ellen for many years. I worked at Dr. Neimans office who was her rheumatologist. I would see Maryellen about every 2 to 3 months and sometimes when she was doing really well it would be about every six months. Over the years we became friends. Maryellen had a beautiful smile her attitude was always good even if she didnt feel well. And she love to talk about her daughter and her grandkids. I always thought how lucky her daughter was to have such a great mom. I truly liked Maryellen she was a beautiful person and Ill never forget the day our office got the call from her other doctors office that she had passed. And I want you to know that I live over by the other doctors office and literally when I drive by there I do think of Maryellen she is not forgotten I hope time has healed some of your pain . And she is still watching her beautiful granddaughters from heaven I know that for sure with love Geri

We still think of you Mary-Ellen! Thank you for being a champion for Jon ... you were such a solid person in his life when he was going through his divorce. It gives me comfort to know you are 'up there' pulling for us. Blessings!

I met Mary-Ellen in 1990 at Frontier Bank. I could always depend on her for excellent advice.
We worked together, walked every step of 60 miles together, looked for license plate numbers together, and were baseball game buddies. I really miss her, she was a very special person in more ways than I can possibly describe.
Life in general and Mariners games will not be the same without her.

I was sad to hear of Mary-Ellen's passing from Betty Mercier when she called me on 2/11 and I'am sorry to have missed her funeral. What a beautiful obituary. We are Frontier Bank retires and because of her participation I continue to be involved with the March of Dimes. She was fun to be around, especially the memories of working together...myself, Ken, Lila, Becky & others. My condolence to all the family. Merwyn Banks

What a woman Mary-Ellen was. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Though I hadn't talked with her since I left Frontier Bank she was still on my mind often. She was a very compassionate woman who loved her family. She had so much to offer people and she would never quit giving.

What a pleasure to have known this lady, a beautiful laugh, a great sense of humor, a dear friend and great co-worker. Always there when you needed her. I met Mary Ellen in 1983 when she became an employee at Frontier, working side by side with Ken McMinn. She loved her family and shared them with us as well. Mary Ellen stood by my side when I lost my husband 21 years ago and I was blessed to have walked her through losing Jack. She is with him again, the love of her life, and although we are left behind without her, we have wonderful happy memories of her, she will never be forgotten. The funny side of Mary Ellen and I was the non stop nicknames that we obtained throughout our employ together, I addressed her Mary Lou Ellen and Lila Mae Tucker she would say in response and we would both laugh so hard like we had heard it only for the first time. God Bless you Mary Ellen, and to Steve, Karen and Casey you will miss her I know, she was a great mom and dear friend to so many, but we can all be thankful that we became better people because she was born.

My Aunt Mary-Ellen was a wonderful woman. She was one of the strongest ladies I knew. She was my Aunt, Godmother and Friend. I was lucky to have spent a lot of time with her, my Uncle Jack and the kids when they lived in CT. After moving to WA we remained very close. I am not ready to say goodbye... I love you and will miss you so much.
All my love,
Kim

What a loss! Mary-Ellen and I shared time together at the YMCA in Everett for several years. She was such an amazing woman, trying so hard to stay fit with her RA issues and her busy life. She had a great sense of humor. I know her family will have wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime.

What a loss to the world. I will always remember times with Mary Ellen, car pooling kids to OLPH, Sausage Fests & living in the same neighborhood raising our kids. Loved her sense of humor, positive attitude & friendship. You kids were blessed to have such a wonderful Mom, who adored all of you, cherished each of your personalities and yes, adored Casey's girls. Thank you for letting me say goodbye to her~it was a honor. Don't ever hesitate to call, or contact me if you ever need to talk or need advise, etc. She was raised up on Eagles Wings....

Mary-Ellen truly was an awesome woman. The special feeling you had after talking with her really could not have been explained any better. Her compassion, her laugh, and her sense of humor I will never forget. She mentored me through many tough days at Frontier Bank, and continued with welcomed advice even after she retired. I am one of the luckiest people to have known and worked with her. To Mare's family -- may the memories you shared bring you peace. You were her world and I am so glad she got to spend quality time with Emma and Sara after she retired - that was the icing on her cake.
