Mary McSherry Obituary

Mary Lou McSherry

Mary Lou McSherry transcended pain, frustration, despair and earthly limitations on February 27, 2011 and returned to the loving embrace of the Goddess.
She was born on October 23, 1936 in Arcadia, California and from the first and up until the very end, she took on the World face to face usually on her own terms.
During her Life Journey she developed three great loves, gardening, animals (sharing her space with cats, otters, horses, dogs and birds over the years) and art which would become a passion.
Teaching and creating beauty with oils, watercolors, pencil and acrylics she joined and participated in such groups as the Northwest Toleliners, Sky Valley Artists and Marysville Art Guild.
She left behind her husband, Mark C. McSherry; and their fuzzy children, Wrecker, Bingo and Houston.
At her request her remains will be cremated. No memorial date has been set.
If so desired, remembrances in her name may be made to the Everett Woman's Shelter; or Animal Welfare Group of your choosing. She will be missed.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Mark,
I am Tunde's mother and I had the opportunity to meet Mary a couple of times and she left an indelible impression on me. May she rest in peace in Summerland and may you find consolation in your cherished memories of her.
With deep sympathy for your loss,
Agatha Molnar

Mark and Mary were our neighbors for eight years. Although we have not seen Mark and Mary in years I often thought about her love for animals. My Father helped Mark build a ramp in the front of their house so Mary could get out easier. She was always there to talk to if you needed someone to listen. She will be missed. Mark we send our condolences you treated her like a queen. Take Care, Ron and Cass Ford

Mark,
I met you and Mary quite a few years ago when I had the pleasure of being in one of Mary's watercolor classes. It was a new experience for me. Mary was the perfect teacher to share that adventure with. Take really good care of you. Blessings to you, Mark
