Maxine Wise Obituary

Maxine M. Wise

Maxine M. Wise, 92, of Everett, WA went home to be with the Lord Jesus on May 5, 2011.
She was born October 6, 1918 in Tudor, Alberta, Canada to Robertie and Edith Dyson. As a young woman she moved to Seattle where she met the love of her life, Robert Wise. They were married May 4, 1946.
Robert preceded her in death in February 1994.
She is survived by their children, Mark (Dianne) Wise, Wendy (Robert) Adams, Roger (Debby) Wise, Dean (Debbie) Wise, and Drew Wise; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Paul; sister, Roberta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her grandson, Andrew, preceded her in death.
In the 1970's Maxine recommitted her life to Christ. Until the day she died, she was known to her children as a loving mother who faithfully prayed for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201.
We as a family are very proud that she and our father will be interred together at the Tahoma National Cemetery due to our father's honorable service to our country in World War II.
Burial arrangements were made by Chapel of the Resurrection.

Dear Mark, Wendy, Roger & Dean:
I am so sorry to hear about your mother and equally sorry we have lost touch through the years. I hope you are comforted in your loss knowing she is in a better place and that she is with your father. Both of my parents are now gone and I miss them terribly. I have such great memories of you guys when we would spend the holidays together when you lived in Palo Alto, those were good times for sure!! If any of you are on Facebook, look me up under Gayle Dyson Vicol Aukland. Long name, short story. Miss and love you all, take care and be stong for each other. Your cousin, Gayle
