Michael G. Deming, MD, age 69, passed away at home on October 5, 2013. Dr. Deming graduated from the University of Colorado and the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force at the rank of Captain. He served from 1972-1975 at Clark Air Force Base where he counseled returning prisoners of war. After his service, Dr. Deming finished his residency and fellowship in Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1979. He cared for a multitude of patients during his 33 years of Psychiatric practice, retiring in 2012. He is survived by his wife, Venus; two sons, Raul and Mario; and sisters, Lynn and Mandy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Pierson Presbrey and Wanda Yost Deming; and his brother, Perry Edward Deming. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Innis Arden Clubhouse, 1430 NW 188th, Shoreline, WA 98177.
