I didn't get to know you for long, and I will always wish for longer. There are so many chapters of my life that you never got to be a part of and I had the intention of letting you be there but you got to be a part of one chapter in my life. I want you to know that I was the one who wanted to get to know you and no one pressured me to do it or told me "no you can't do that" because they couldn't and they knew they couldn't. I'll always wish I could share so many memories with you but I'm glad I have the memories of you that I do have. Life is unfair but God has plans for us all and his reasons for taking you home so early are his own and I won't question them because I know we will see each other again, whenever that will be. Missing you always.

I’m sure missing you Son. Friends have said time will ease the pain of your being gone but that hasn’t started yet. Every day some little thing brings a fresh reminder of your absence from our lives and the longing seems to increase as time passes. I hope you and those we know who have gone before are having a great time together. . We had planned a lot of things that we aren’t going to get to do now here. There must be many really cool things to do where you are too. Just make a list. We will all be together again on a day not so far away but for now it seems a long, tearful way off.
