Miriam Virginia Anderson

Miriam Virginia Anderson went home to her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2011, surrounded by family. Miriam was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 11, 1927 and grew up in Indiana on a farm. The family moved to Seattle, Washington in 1941 where she attended Ballard High School, graduating in 1945. She went on to attend nursing school at Virginia Mason. She enjoyed traveling, painting, sewing, baking and beach combing.
She is survived by her husband, David Anderson, of 56 years; daughters, Sandra (Scott) Nielsen, Marcia (Steve) Jewett, Diane Anderson; and son, Dan (Karen) Anderson; eight grandchildren; brother, Paul; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County.

Deepest sympathies from my family to you and yours. She will always be a part of you and you will carry her with you. Her suffering has ended and I hope you find some small measure of comfort in that thought.
