Patricia E. Cary was born in Udall, Kansas on March 10, 1931 and peacefully passed away on November 13, 2013 in Everett. In 1947 she married Leo Cary who she had known since she was nine years old. They had two children and resided in Derby, Kansas and then later moved in 1968 to Everett. Pat was a stay-at-home mom most of her life, but after moving to Everett she was employed at Boeing. Pat and Leo retired in 1985 and enjoyed 24 of those years wintering in Yuma, AZ. During her lifetime she enjoyed camping, waterskiing, backpacking, oil painting, crafts and was an avid reader. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, of 62 years and her parents, Ira and Hadgie Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Linda States (Larry); and son, Roger Cary. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Todd States (Lindsey), Chad States (Andrew), Lacy Cary and Hannah Cary; three great grandchildren, Makenzie, Cole and Isaiah; and many friends over her lifetime that will truly miss her. Many heartfelt thanks to Silver Lake Adult Home, Bluebird Bungalow and Garden Court where she was treated with dignity and love. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hospice Foundation in the memory of Pat. The family will have a private graveside service and later a family gathering in Kansas to remember and celebrate Pat's life.
