Peter Kavalski

Peter Kavalski of Everett, Washington went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2013. Pete was born to Stephen and Rose Kavalski in Providence, Rhode Island on October 20, 1945. The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1950. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965 and is a lifetime member of VFW Post 2252 Kalispell, Montana.
He met his wife JoAnn in Renton, Washington; they married on December 30, 1966 in Seattle, Washington.
Together they had three sons, Pete Jr, John and
Calvin. They joined Anitta, Christine, Delvaine and
Penny from JoAnn's previous marriage.
Pete worked at the Boeing Company in Renton and Everett, WA, from 1966 to 1970, working on the 707, 727, 737 and is one of the Incredibles for the 747. He was laid off in 1970 and moved with his family to Phoenix, AZ where he began working as a mainframe systems analyst and programmer for Associated Grocers (AG). In 1978 he left AG and returned to Everett, WA to work at the Boeing Company on the 747, 767 and 777 airplanes. He retired in 2003.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents,
Stephen and Rose; his older brother, Stephen Jr; his younger brother, Raymond; his sons, John and Delvaine Nice; and his grandson, Eric S. (Tucson) Rice, son of Christine.
He is survived by JoAnn, his wife of 47 years, Peter Jr and his wife, Lisa, Calvin and his wife, Pamela, Anitta and her husband, Royce Jones, Christine and her husband, Rick Morey, Penny and her husband, Jim Jepson; his younger sister, Carol Flanagan; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
Dad was a man who loved his family, his extended Boeing family, and his many friends. He will be greatly missed. We would like to invite you to his Memorial Service and celebration of his life on May 16, 2013, 1p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 8401 Holly Drive, Everett, WA.
