In addition, Phil and Nancy have nine grandchildren; countless friends and neighbors who were extremely close, including the "Garage Guys" who met almost daily for 30 years. When visiting the Battista home, friends and family could always count on being treated to heart-warming songs from his father's "old country" and the best pasta this side of Rome. A Celebration of Life will honor Phil on Saturday, October 19, 3:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 24323 Bothell-Everett Highway in Bothell.
