Ralph Wilhelm

Ralph Wilhelm, 83, of Lynnwood, WA, died January 31, 2011.
Ralph was born in Valley City, ND. His family moved to Puyallup, WA in 1942. In 1943 at the age of 15, he joined the U.S. Merchant Marine, serving our country through WWII.
Ralph worked for Seattle City Lights in the Range Service Department. He retired after 30 years of service to the community. Later, he worked for ten years for the City of Woodway.
Ralph was also very active in other organizations and had a variety of hobbies including Air Force's M.A.R.S. Ham Operators, Boy Scouts (he received the Order of the Arrow), certified Master Gardener, was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, an avid hiker, cat fancier and a collector of unique cookie jars.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Arline; one son, Howard; stepson, Howard; and stepdaughter, Sherrie.
He is survived by two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on February 5, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Club House, 20617 28th Avenue W, Lynnwood, WA.
